I Wish I Could Just Turn And Walk Away

Tonight we saw this poor dead duck at the end of my street just off the road. It had been hit by a car, but was not dead yet and it's chest was still coming up and down as it continued to breathe. It was maybe the saddest thing I've ever had to watch.
